Since the start of this year, I have been trying new K-Beauty products from different brands. I’m normally an Etude House girl, and 90% of my makeup collection exist of Etude House products. From skin care to cosmetics. But now my collection is getting bigger and bigger with products from other brands, like my go-to serum from Klairs, the Freshly Juiced Vitamin Drop.
What is the Freshly Juiced Vitamin Drop?
According to their website, this serum is designed with naturally effective ingredients that are safe and non-irritating. The Freshly Juiced Vitamin Drop energizes and rejuvenates your skin with the power of pure Vitamin C. In other words, this serum makes your dull skin look brighter, fades your scars and dark spots, and hydrates your skin. Ideal for sensitive skin. Very promising!
The serum comes in a thick, plastic bottle with a dropper. Very unique, in my opinion, because vitamin C oxides when exposed to sunlight. It is recommended to store the bottle in a dry, cool place, somewhere away from direct sunlight.
How to use
I use this serum in the evenings, right after toner. With the dropper, I drop one drop on each cheek, and a drop on my forehead and massage with my fingertips the serum into my skin. I let it sit for a few minutes before continue my skincare routine.
I love the texture, it’s not as thick as oil, but it’s also not like water. The formula is something in between. When I applied the serum for the first time, I thought it’s going to be a greasy mess on my face, but my skin absorbs the serum well and a few minutes later I don’t feel any greasiness anymore.
After two weeks of using the serum, my friends notice my skin looked brighter. Also a few of my dark spots have faded a little bit. Overall, I’m positive about this serum and will continue until finished.
