Hi guys, long time no see!
I have been very busy working full-time as well as getting ready for my immigration to the USA. Now that I got a new contract with more flexible working hours, I plan on bringing this blog to life again. Bear with me it’s going to take a while but keep checking once in a while 🙂 I also plan on blogging about our K-1 Visa journey, which will come up soon. For now, enjoy this blog about my recent visit to the USA as Shaun’s fiancée!
I stayed for exactly 14 days in the USA; 10 days in Utah and 4 days in Los Angeles. Of course more detailed posts of our activities are coming up, but let me give your a peak of my visit through this post with some highlights in pictures.
From left to right: the view of Utah from the airplane, my first dinner since arrival, a tour at Sweet’s Company, random selfie with my man 🙂
A photo with Raine, Black Friday sale experience, Chinatown Market in Utah, hiking one of the many mountains of Utah.
Utah landscape. It is quite beautiful as you can see the mountains no matter where you are. In the Winter the mountains are covered in snow. I haven’t been to Utah in the Winter, but I guess it must be more beautiful than it is now!
My very first official Thanksgiving dinner. Shaun’s family went all out preparing Thanksgiving and I am thankful that I’m becoming part of the family soon.
A visit to Salt Lake City isn’t a visit without having seen the Temple Square. We were there during night time, and this picture was taken on the first day they turned on the lights. Beautiful, isn’t it?
A full post of coming, but here’s a sneak peak of the Madame Tussaud’s wax museum in Hollywood 😉
Warner Bros. Studio Tour is one the highlights that you must do when visiting Hollywood. It’s fun, informative and you get to see behind the scenes of many tv and film productions.
One of the highlights of the Warner Bros. Studio Tour is the real FRIENDS tv series set!
Universal Studios = The Wizarding World of Harry Potter *fan screams*
This is more Shaun’s highlight and I’m just a +1. Jokes aside, it was fun though 🙂
And last but not least, the famous HOLLYWOOD sign! It was surreal to see this in real life.
Of course I took hundreds of pictures, but I won’t post them all. As mentioned before, detailed posts are coming up soon when I’m done jetlagging and I’m all settled at work again.
